Gordon Munford, 1929 – 1999

I acquired all of Gordon Munford's score books from his wife Gail at an estate sale. 

Musical director and arranger Gordon Munford was born June 8, 1929 in California. He was a nine year resident of Las Vegas, a member of the Musicians Union and the American Symphony Orchestra League, and past board member for the Association of Musical Arrangers. Munford directed and conducted more than 65 musicals from off Broadway’s “Little Mary Sunshine” to the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit “1776.” While in Southern Nevada, Munford wrote arrangements for several local musical groups and was the musical director for the June production of “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” at the Spring Mountain Ranch State Park.
